When people casually ask, "What kind of music do you like?" I never know what to say without sounding pretentious. The honest truth would be, "I actually only listen to about ten indipendent singer-songwriters on repeat, and wait years between new albums. Plus also Taylor Swift."
I hate how long that answer is, so I usually just say I like Country music. It's true, I like Country music, but I don't listen to the radio very often so I'm not up to date on the latest tunes.
